About Me

Aliyah Griffith is a third-year PhD student at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.  She received her Bachelors of Science from Hampton University and her Masters of Science from UNC Chapel Hill. Her research focus is in coral reef ecosystems with her Master's thesis addressing coral skeletal growth patterns exposed to natural disturbances along the Florida Keys Reef Tract. She is currently researching coral reef growth patterns and management techniques.
