About Me

As an MSc Student with a background in coral restoration, I study how coral babies can replenish degraded reefs. My research focuses on the early life history stages of corals, specifically studying what influences their larval behavior, settlement, and recruitment, and whether these have latent effects. Over 5+ years of experience I have become passionate about reducing coral's early development bottlenecks. Hence my goal is to conduct research that leads to the development of innovative strategies that scale up reef rehabilitation with recruits and juvenile corals.
