Healer, Scholar, Founder
Dr. Della V. Mosley (they/she) is a fat, Black, queer, poly, creative femme and proud auntie from Rockford, IL, now based in Charlotte, NC. They are a counseling psychologist with a PhD from the University of Kentucky and an MS in School Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. Their formal training is grounded in ongoing study of Black feminist healing and praxis, where they continue to learn, practice, and teach in community. For Della, the healing of Black women in academia means everything. They help Black women and femmes survive the grind of academic spaces, find wellness within them, or chart pathways to thriving beyond them. Their work is rooted in care, creativity, and collective liberation, honoring the lineages that have made their survival and joy possible. Della runs Whole Wayves, a healing practice offering spaces for softness, sovereignty, and collective wellness.

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate
Chanale D. Propst (she/her) is a Black girl, healer, and writer living in the South – born in Salisbury, NC and now residing in Charlotte, NC. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate with a master’s degree in Counselor Education from East Carolina University with specializations in Student Affairs/College Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her work is deeply rooted in liberation theology and Black feminist thought, centering Black women in agency, narrative, and autonomy. For Chanale, the healing of Black women in academia is vital. She understands the importance of creating spaces that provide soft ground for discovery, deep rest, and continued becoming.

Vanessa E. Anyanso (she/her) is a proud daughter of Nigerian immigrants, dreamer, and advocate from Washington, D.C., now based in Boston, MA. She is a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Minnesota and currently completing her clinical residency at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Her work is shaped by a deep commitment to liberatory and Black feminist healing and praxis. For Vanessa, the healing of Black women in academia means helping sister-scholars thrive in environments that often seek to diminish them. She is deeply committed to co-creating community, empowerment, and healing with Black women and femmes.
