Hi! My name is Natalie (she/her) and I'm currently a NOAA Coastal Management Fellow with the Coastal States Organization working oon coastal environmental justice issues. My background is in marine ecology & I've studied whale migration via hydrophone acoustics, socio-ecological impacts of sedimentation on corals in Palau, and had the opportunity to participate in a couple of research cruises aboard an icebreaker in the Arctic & a tallship in the Atlantic. I absolutely love the ocean (and all the animals in it) and hope to do work that sits at the intersection of marine ecology and environmental/climate justice, ideally with a focus on small-island nations like the islands in the Caribbean where my family is from. Super excited to meet more people in the space <3
