I'm a Mississippi-born biomedical engineer currently transitioning into marine science. My background includes molecular simulations, mammalian cell culture, and assay development, with research experience in both academic and industry settings. I hold degrees in chemical and biomedical engineering and have worked on bioprocess optimization, prototype development, and data-driven method refinement.
After returning to the U.S. and taking time to reflect on what really matters to me, I rediscovered a deep-rooted fascination with the ocean. That curiosity, long set aside, is now guiding my career shift. I’m currently exploring opportunities in ocean engineering and marine technology, with a particular interest in how technical systems can support climate resilience and ecosystem understanding.
Outside of work, I spend time walking in nature, reading, and stretching (something like yoga, but quieter). I also enjoy collecting small rocks, making things with my hands, and learning how materials and environments shape each other—whether in the lab or on a trail.
