I'm a Detroit Native, formally educated in the Caribbean with a background in marine biological research (more specifically in crustacean biomechanics) and science education. I am currently an outdoor educator in Montana. I've taught in Yellowstone National Park and at MPG Ranch.
Previously, I taught middle school science in Detroit, Michigan, where my students achieved record academic growth, resulting in the school being awarded a national blue ribbon in 2024.
Ultimately, I am passionate about bridging science and community, with research and outreach that highlights resilience, adaptation, and access to nature for underrepresented communities!
I love camping, scuba diving, and you guessed it, animals.
