Thamiah L. Tutt, MBA, is an accomplished, dynamic non-profit professional who consistently seeks to connect people with mission-driven organizations focused on building community. Ms. Tutt is a proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University and Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Tutt is currently Executive Director of the Dr. Maya Angelou Foundation. The purpose of the Foundation is to uplift the life and legacy of world-renowned poet, author, and civil rights leader Dr. Maya Angelous by supporting educational excellence and healthcare equity initiatives. Ms. Tutt is also the Founder and CEO of Global Philanthropic Solutions, LLC (GPS, LLC), an independent consulting firm specializing in nonprofit management and fund development strategies for start-up, emerging, and midsize non-profits. GPS, LLC’s area of excellence involve supporting small to midsize nonprofits on fund development strategies, capacity building efforts, board, and volunteer leadership development and engagement, and executive and junior executive coaching.
